About Us: Meet the Troy Austen Real Estate Team

Troy Austen has been a sales representative for RE/MAX since 1996.

He has received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, Muskoka-Haliburton Top Sales Team Award each year since 1999, and has been inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. In 2015, Troy was a founder of Team Haliburton Highlands which quickly became Haliburton's number one real estate team. In 2021 he and his Team attained the Pinnacle Club Team Award – the highest Team Award available at RE/MAX. Troy leads his current team with that same winning ethos, expertise and dedication to excellence.

As a 5th generation Haliburton County resident, there's no place Troy hasn't personally explored. His love for the outdoors has nourished his knowledge of what this picturesque landscape has to offer and what prospective buyers can expect from the different lakes. He also has the previous experience of building and selling spec cottages on lakefront developments. In 2022 he partnered with his sister Skye to launch Haliburton Cottage Rentals to fill the needs expressed by many of his clients and contacts – a professional and trustworthy cottage rental service. That business is also experiencing great reviews and exciting growth.

He brings irreplaceable experience with him from the countless deals he has had a hand in. Amanda was born and raised in Toronto. She attended Queen's University and graduated in 2012. Amanda and husband Chris, raised in Haliburton, finished their cottage on Redstone Lake in late 2020. During the process of selling their first cottage and building their permanent one, her love of Real Estate grew exponentially, and resulted in her swapping a successful fashion and design career for real estate sales.

The addition of a beautiful baby boy in 2022 has kept them busy but Amanda is still focused on real estate trends and inventory in both Toronto and Haliburton. Amanda's passion and attention to detail translates to dreams fulfilled for her buyers.

Past and present clients and colleagues love Cheryl's enthusiasm, knowledge and responsive assistance in all aspects of property listings and purchases. She has excelled in the field for over 24 years, has been a very successful Realtor as well as mentored and guided salespeople along the way.

Cheryl lives in the east side of Haliburton County and has traded extensively throughout the Bancroft and Kawartha areas as well. Her expertise over this large area will provide you with the comprehensive information you deserve.

Cheryl's caring and dedication shines through to her family and friends that she enjoys- all close to home. She enjoys all things 'home' – improvement and reno's, staging and design, and always has great ideas and projects on the go for DIY's and recycling furniture and art.

Marion has worked in real estate administration and marketing for over 40 years assisting both brokerage offices and individual sales representatives. Her long-time dedication for the business has made her an invaluable asset to both team members and clients.

Victoria was born and raised in Woodstock. She and her husband Jason recently moved to Haliburton County with their 3 young children and are working on renovating their home. Since moving to the County, Victoria has joined the board for Minden Skating Club, and can often be found at the rink watching their daughter figure skate.

Victoria has worked in real estate industry for the past several years. Her knowledge of all aspects of real estate administration is vast including Marketing, Agent Rebranding, and Finance.
